Since the Fundraising Gala, Roseline and Ronald Ndoro have both left for Zimbabwe. Ronald will be back next week but Roseline will be gone for the entire month of November. We are hoping for yet more good news about the progress of the Zororo Leadership Academy when they return.
It’s been a busy week since their departure. On Thursday night, Ndoro CC was invited to attend Royds Solicitors Charity Quiz Night. Several other charities also attended and at the end of the evening one of the charity names was picked out of a hat to win money generated by the raffle. Although Ndoro CC was not picked out of the hat the evening was a great success, with Ndoro CC finishing a very respectable 2nd in the quiz. We would like to thank Royds for the invite.
Yesterday, Simon and Schuster kindly donated over 100 books to Ndoro CC. The children’s books will be sent to our project in Zimbabwe whereas books for adults will be sold online at greenmetropolis to generate funds.
Last night Ndoro CC was invited to the SATOA WTM Social Networking Event at South Africa House. SATOA promote tourism to Southern Africa and have chosen Ndoro CC as their charity of the year. We would like to thank SATOA for the invite and for making us their charity of the year.
Christmas is slowly creeping up on us again. Ndoro CC has organized two fundraising Christmas Bazaars in the run up to Christmas. The first is on the 4th of December in Twickenham. There will be stalls, nibbles and a festive atmosphere. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible…
