Big Things..
It’s finally here! The 24 hour Sponsored Spin is only 4 days away. This Friday, 7pm at the Pedal Studio in Putney, our 9 teams begin their 24 hour spin for charity. NdoroCC truly appreciates all the support we’ve received from both participants and donors. We would like to thank all 72 registered participants and wish them a fun filled 24 hours of spinning! For those who would still like to contribute but have missed the opportunity to register for this event, there’s still an opportunity to assist through our Team NdoroCC Just Giving donation page. Any contribution is welcome.
It’s an exciting time for us at NdoroCC both here in London and abroad. Our Zimbabwe office recently organized a ‘Plant A Tree’ event at Hwedza country club; the site which we plan to develop into the orphanage home and school, Zororo Leadership Academy. It was a fun filled day of digging holes, planting trees, playing with the children and general community engagement. The event was a roaring success made possible by generous donations from numerous supporters. NdoroCC would like to acknowledge and thank Schweppes and Colcom Foods for drinks and food donations respectively; Derek Selby, Nix Vicory, Joanna Sharp and Laura Kelly for food and toy donations; Candice Devenish, Jo Proctor and Sebastian Smythe for providing transport for all the donations. Special thanks to all the volunteers who selflessly offered their time and support to make this day so memorable for the children.
The spirit of giving is strong all around at the moment, as evidenced by the numerous donations we have received. We would like to give a special thanks to Carmen Hall for her extremely kind donation of several bags of children’s clothes. These are bound to make the children they are destined for, very, very happy. Thanks again Carmen!
