NDORO CHILDREN’S CHARITIES AT SUMMER FAIRS 2011
NdoroCC will once again take over the sunny, enjoyable Summer Fairs and we would like to invite you to join us for the most fun season of the year!
At the fairs NdoroCC will offering a wide range of good African Art and crafts for sale. All funds raised will go to our current project - the Zororo Leadership Academy – which is an orphanage and school for underprivileged children in the Hwedza District, Zimbabwe.
We have already participated in the RICHMOND MAY FAIR last Saturday, the 14th of May. Many thanks to our volunteers who showed their support by manning the stand he whole day and helped sell many of our display items, which were greatly appreciated by visiting the public.

Our Next event is going to be:
Wine Tasting & Art Exhibition
NdoroCC is pleased to host this extraordinary event on the 21st of May, (this Saturday), at the trendy venue “Supper Club” in Notting Hill.
Begin Saturday afternoon tasting canapés and bidding on unique African Art, which will include a mix of paintings, sculptures, wood carvings and photography from Freeway Football, Heritage Art Gallery and Culture In Stone.
Continue the day tasting 6 delicious wines and test your wine knowledge with an education and trivia course, hosted by expert sommeliers from the West London Wine School.
Art will be available for purchase until 6:30 PM. Drinks will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the event.

This is a busy month for Ndoro Children’s Charities with the advent of summer fairs:
HANDS FAIR
On Monday 30th of May you can find us at Twickham Green from 10am– 3pm, where you will have opportunity to acquire our product and know more about NdoroCC and our work. During the day, you will also set a barbecue and amusements for children with live music - small brass band.
In addition to raising funds the Fair provides a wonderful opportunity for us to generate public interest in our work and services and for attracting new volunteers/members. We hope it will be an enjoyable and profitable day for everyone.
Prizes and certificates will be presented to three stalls for: 1. Best amusement for children 2. Quality of goods 3. Publicity, banners and presentation
The fair is publicised in local newspaper, and charities are asked to help by displaying the posters provided and informing their members.

NDORO Children's Charities is returning to Ham Common Fair, on the June 11th; Ham Common, Ham, TW10, 11:00am and 4:30pm
Held on Ham Common, this traditional village fair boasts a wide variety of stalls with fun and entertainment provided by local schools and other groups including a companion dog show, art display, music and dancing.
Ham Amenities Group have organised Ham Fair since 1983, with much of the logistics provided by Ham Scout Group, helped by Ham and Petersham Guides and with manpower provided by Latchmere House.
Ham Fair provides a great day of fun and entertainment for all the family!

VILLAGE OF TWICKENHAM GREEN FETE
Twickenham council is pleased to invite you and your whole family to the Twickenham village green fete event, where you will have the opportunity to discover another alternative and genuine part of London without even realising it.
Ndoro Children's Charities will welcome you with a lot of African arts and craft that you can buy for the purpose of our latest project in Zimbabwe. You will also have the opportunity to start to know our work and our projects throughout the day.
Furthermore, entertainment will be offered through live Dancing & Music, Cricket, Bouncy Castle, Sumo Wrestling, Mini-Rugby, Ice Cream, Candy Floss, Balloons, Fire Engine, Farmer's Market - Pies, Cakes, Cider and Nuts, Pottery, Gifts, etc.
Art on the Green Show + Instant Art Competition for all age groups. So bring your own pencil, pen or paint!
NdoroCC will be also set up the stall at the Lambeth Country Show weekend!
Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th; Brockwell Park, London, from 11am to 7pm each day
Beside the wonderful opportunity for us to generate public interest in our work and services and for attracting new volunteers/members, you will also taste delicious food from all corners of the world. The Food Hall displayed an array of cuisine from local producers and, as always, children and adults alike were delighted by the animals from Vauxhall City Farm.
Entertainment over the weekend is guaranteed! Activities, such as sheep dog displays, jousting, flower and vegetable competitions, along with great cultural offerings and traditional fare amidst the beautiful backdrop of the City skyline from Brockwell Park.
In more details, the Flower Show hosted a vibrant new competition to design a scarecrow which included glamorous ‘Stars from Film and Music’ entries such as the Mad Hatter and Lady Gaga. The Main Arena also invited the crowds to participate in a giant tug of war, enjoy the action and entertainment from the Horse Ranger Association, as well as watching bird and sheep dog displays.
So now we are waiting only for you to join us and have a fun supporting our MISSION ;) !!!!
